T CrB is a famous recurrent nova of spectral class B . It is a double star system made of a red giant and a white dwarf orbiting in 228 days. T CrB is usually around magnitude 10 however during outbursts it can reach magnitude 2. Previous outbursts have been observed in 1866 and 1946 and some studies suggest that a new outburst might happen in the second half of 2024.
