χ Aquarii is a variable giant star of spectral class M3 in the constellation of Aquarius.

χ Aquarii visual magnitude is 5.06. Because of its faintness, χ Aquarii is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
